Timboon Abbeyfield to meet a community need
Monday, 14 February, 2011    Author: Chris Reside

The Timboon Abbeyfield Action Group is planning an exciting Abbeyfield residential development in Timboon. Timboon is a small township in south west Victoria, (about 50 KM from Warrnambool) and serves a thriving agricultural community.

The first part of the Timboon project, which has a budget of $2 million, will be the construction of five independent living units. Revenue from sale of the units, expected to cost about $200,000 each, will in turn contribute to funding a supported living Abbeyfield House to accommodate ten local residents.
